1. Enable NFC

  • Locate the ‘enable NFC ‘options within your phone.
  • Setting > connections > NFC and payment turn on/enable
  • Please note: Apple iPhones XR/XS and newer automatically have NFC always on.
  • For Android devices: NFC chip readers are typically located within the back-center of the phone.
  • For iPhone XR/XS +newer: NFC chip readers are typically located at the top of phone.

2. Tap your card

You will be re-directed to the sign up page.

  • Use this sign up page to create your profile. (Please ensure you sign up your profile only after first tapping your card. It needs not be your own device)
  • After sign up, here are some quick steps to ensure your profile Is liked to your card:
    • Logout of your Profile
    • Tap your phone to any NFC-enabled device
    • A URL containing your empty profile should appear

IF IT DOES NOT:

  • Delete your profile within your Account ‘Settings’
  • Close all tabs from browser
  • Restart from beginning of Step #2 Tap Your Card

3. Setup your profile

After you’ve completed (Step #2), your profile will now be linked to your Blue Smart Card.

You are now free to update/edit and setup your profile at anytime, and on any web browser or on your mobile.

4. You’re all set!

  • Tap your card to a compatible device to share your info!
  • Re-visit your Blue profile URL to sign in and update your profile at anytime or you can update your profile on your mobile.

To enable NFC on Android devices, simply navigate to your phone settings. Within the ‘Connections’ option, you will be able to find an ‘NFC and Payment’ setting.

For compatible Apple devices, NFC will automatically be enabled.

Simply enable this option and NFC will be turned on.

Please make sure you’re using a compatible smartphone and that you have NFC turned on in settings. If you’ve checked both of those and the NFC tag is still not being read, please reach out to us at support@blue.social.

For compatible Apple devices, NFC readers are typically located at the top, on the backside of your device.
